Confused with a girl..?@$@%@#?

What are the signs of interest to look for in a shy girl...?? I really like a girl and she kinda rejected me initially.. so i left for a while with disappointment.. But nowadays i see her looking at me often and when i try to make eye contact, she looks away. does any girl look at a guy even after rejecting him initially...??? I'm so confused... pls help me out... also guide me how to approach here on..
